  IT Calorimetry

The Biophysics Core maintains a Microcal Isothermal Titration Calorimeter to assist in calculating stochiometry, binding constant, enthalpy and entropy. The instrument includes an internal Peltier mechanism. To arrange access, contact Ms. Li Luo [Phone: (860) 679-8404; Email: LiLuo@uchc.edu] or Dr. Jeff Hoch [Phone: (860) 679-3566; Email: Hoch@uchc.edu].

Fees
Internal users: a small fee (about $2 per hour) to cover maintenance costs.
External academic users: $8-50 per hour.
   Commercial users: $100 per hour.
